Yeah, the change definitely hits full dodge channelers way more than channelers in full plate. I still stand by the fact that I think it's a good change to balance out channelers as a whole. For the record, I would be open to discussions about how wearing heavy armor would impede movement of weaving...

I would only ask that there be something put in place to prevent trollocs from entering a gate then, or at the very least, a warning when they try to...just in case anyone tried to follow a dreadlord through

Hmm, in that case, I suppose it would be by the books to make it so shadowspawn couldn't go through it.

In game, it would most likely affect the following: trolloc players/npcs could only use the ways to get south and shadow stallions would also not be allowed through

Ouch, that's harsh. All shadowspawn? Or just trollocs, fades, etc?

Probably an oversight about shadowspawn using items formed with the one power. I'm of the mind that no one but the channeler should be able to use the items formed with the one power. It's definitely more of a balance thing, than a realistic thing. Most full dodgers who go in there with a group of enemies and try to do an AoE weave, will probably take some serious damage for it, but the damage they do is also quite potent. Against mobols, it's also more of a gamble, since you can...

Yup, I completely agree that once you move from an area, all bashes, weaves, forms, etc, should be cancelled. And I currently heavily use the moving/channeling thing, so that's saying something.

Basically, by keeping it allowed, it makes channeling speeds nearly useless for AoE weaves.
