Death System Revision..

Death System Revision..

Hi everyone!

We've a nice death system in RP sense, as in when you die you will get pulled into Tel'aran'rhiod for a short period of time, and if you wished to speed up this process, you would find the Mistress of the Wheel to get respun back into the world. This way, you can actively contribute to returning to the world so you don't need to wait as long.

However, the system has quite many flaws in it. First of all, it places the player back into a random spot on the zone after dying, which leads to them dying the instant they get back sometimes. The second flaw is that the Mistress of The Wheel sometimes goes missing without any explicit reason why, and thus strands people to stay dead forever.

Those being said, I'm looking for alternatives for the death system which wouldn't involve absurd amount of work to do. If anyone has any ideas in regards of what kind the death system could be, post your thoughts here.

Oh, I've changed the death system to be such that you spawn outside the pattern (at Mistress of the Wheel) when you die, so you get to go through the newbie area again to reach the real world. To prevent getting stranded in death land for a long time or dying the instant you spawn.
