These Forums - PLEASE READ!!

Once, long ago, Mirrors had a general set of forums built by Loril that got a lot of use. Then life being what it is, Loril went AWOL from the MUD, and with it went the means for us to grant access to areas of the forum that were needed...including the immortal section The board steadily declined, then stopped being used all together. Some of the community feel went out of things, and immortals lost a great resource of player input.

Since that time, a number of forums have been built by both imms and players - usually for particular clans. Some of these went well, some didnt, but the key thing with both was that membership was scattered, and people had to keep track of multiple sites and the passwords for them, and it just got very messy for some.

Immortals have their own in-game board to post on like most other in-game boards, but it can often get spammy as hell after a while, and trying to find a particular topic is at times difficult. Posts get deleted to make room for others, and other posts interject breaking the flow of certain topics, as well as their being limited space to post within.

This set of forums was put together in an effort to rectify some of these issues. We've provided space here for everyone. If that space doesnt get used, it doesnt get used, but its proven worth its weight in gold already just for immortal communication, and gives newbies somewhere to go to request help with questions when they cant find players online with the answers.

When you register, clan areas wont be visible at first. You'll need to register each clanned character seperately. You can use the same email addy for all your characters if you so desire. Once this has been done, please request access to that character's clan. Please be patient and wait a few days after doing this before harassing the Staff here. Usually such things are taken care of quickly.

This also goes for the immortal section, though once registered and membergroup set, you'll be able to see the entire board, last post topics/posters etc.

All the normal rules apply.

* There are limitations on what immortals will comment on.

* If you act in a way we feel is not appropriate, your posts will be deleted. If it becomes a habit, your accounts here will be deleted. Nobody here is a five-year old. You know full well if something is not acceptable.

* Flaming of any sort will not be tolerated, of either mortals or immortals.

* Trolls (person who is only around to post outrageous things and stir trouble) will not be tolerated. End of story. If you come across one, don't feed them. Use the 'report' link in the bottom right of every post and the Staff will take care of them.

Other than that, use them as you will.

With the creation of these boards, the Cairhien Elite forums, The Legions Of The Dark forums, the Mirrors Forums at proboards, and any others I've created will no longer be maintained. Information on them deemed essential has already been transferred over for the most part. I'll try and contact Soephie to see about shifting anything that requires it from the *oL boards as well.
