- If you execute bladeforms in combat and your skill isn't maxed out with that particular form, it'll now always raise if you had a opponent you were striking. This is to encourage you to use forms in combat even if they're not maxed out.

- LIGHTS have been updated. See HELP LIGHT and HELP VISION for more info.
- Objects being unrented will now be updated/reset to the prototype objects' values. This will reset values like light-source strength and capacity, weapons damage values (to ensure they match the prototypes), etc. It will not reset values tied to consumption of the items.
- NPC Channelers that are near death will become more desperate and channel faster.
- A crashbug with mobiles that are seeking a destination has been fixed.
- Accounts will now update the last time your char logged out properly.
- Travel bugfix - you now will know a room well enough to travel from it if you have been in there longer than the required time, not less than.
- The dismount command while you're not riding anything will tell you.
- The 'light' weave will now accept arguments. See HELP LIGHT for more info.

- Items that are flagged goditem cannot be picked up by mortals.
- The Ways no longer have wind from weather.
- Mobile activity due to factions should now make them attack PCs if they're factioned 'opposing' your factions.

- Rooms that are sector type inside should now provide sufficient light for everyone to see objects by default. There are things that will make these rooms darker at times.
- Draw will now draw from your mount's sheaths, if you're riding the mount.
- Sheathe will now attempt to sheathe your weapon into your mount's sheaths if you're riding the mount.
- Characters wielding fireweapons (like bows) will be displayed as such in the room listing.
- Put will not allow you to put notake items into containers.
- NPCs should no longer spam hit if they're aggressive and you recently moved.

Changes made over the past few weeks include:
- The 'light' weave will now tell you acceptable arguments if you make a typo on the size of light you want to create.
- The air/earth/fire/ice item weaves will accept 'spear' for short spears.
- Form 'arc of the moon' no longer applies an offensive bonus.

Changes have been filtering in over the past 2-3 weeks, sorry for not updating
immediately:
- Counter now says you're countering the right person, not yourself.
- If you're leading the mount that you're trying to lead, it will report that it's being led by you, not someone.
- See help quest for more information about the quest command.
- Change color quests will let you customize the color for quest updates.
- The Autoquest system is working with its new framework. If you see a bolded ! in front of an NPC or an object, you should type quest view to see what quests are available.
- You cannot put questmaster objects inside a container.
- Killing a mob that remembers you will only update your factions once now, even if you're in a group.
- The /f command in the editor (mailing/writing on a note/etc) will now keep apostrophes and quotation marks attached to the sentence they enclose.
- Creating a circle (linking with other channelers) will now enforce the appropriate limits on FCs/MCs.

  • You can now press 'c' while paging text to have it continue to the end. It may give you an **OVERFLOW** warning if it was too large to send at once.

  • Warrants can now be issued by clan masters anywhere, you don't need to find the clan's warrant officer.
  • Ram of air should also work on one way doors.

  • No longer will empty drink containers weigh a negative amount. This should put an end to the negative weight bug.
  • Added support for ANSI-256 color codes. See help color for more info.

2024-11-04
  • Newbies (level 15 and lower) will no longer lose thirst/hunger. Thank you to Aramus for the idea.
  • Corpses will now weigh the appropriate amount (100x what they used to).
  • Make prompt won't cut off characters from the end anymore, and %X is now an option. See HELP PROMPT.
  • Compare can be used while resting. Thanks Aramus for the idea.
