I'm not certain who all has this problem, but there are some players that seem to have NPCs named after them. For instance, if I trace Sargon, there is an NPC named Sargon Lugal, so I would be mis-tracing the wrong sargon

In such cases as you've described, you can use "weave 'trace' 0.sargon" to target the PC.
