I've been promising to update policy for years now.

When the in-game policy file was first written, the MUD was a very different place to what it was now.

As with all things, the MUD evolved. Disagreements about policy eventuated even between Immortals out of what some things meant.

Other things just became outdated due to changes on the MUD itself.

So this has been set here to keep track of things, and to periodically alter as the need arises.

The first and foremost policy is one everyone is bound to, no matter if mortal or Immortal:

THIS MUD IS THE PROPERTY OF SHAWNYVE. LAST SAY IN ANYTHING IS HERS, AND HER WORD IS FINAL.

This goes for both mortals and Immortals.

Do not attempt to handle OOC conflict yourself:

If you have an issue with another player - take it to an Immortal.

If you have an issue with an Immortal - take it to Niila or myself.

If you have an issue with Niila or myself - you may try taking it up with Shawnyve as a last resort, but except in extreme matters, she's unlikely to overturn our decisions.
