Immortal Inactivity and Advancement

Yep, even the Immortals have rules. Like...."There can be only one!", and "Fail to drink ambrosia and you become mortal!"
No seriously, we have rules.

Immortal Inactivity and Advancement

Post by Ganelon »

If you are going to be absent from the MUD for a great deal of time, we ask as a courtesy that you inform Niila or myself if possible.

We don't need any details, just knowledge you'll be gone. This is so that priority assignments you might have can be given to other people, or we can gauge how many actives we have for any big projects.

Immortals we don't hear from for six months or longer will be set to level 101 and all bits removed. They can be replaced on your return.

As to Immortal advancement - there used to be a rough method for determining this, but we've found in practise, that it doesn't really work for a number of reasons.

These days, in essence, Niila or I will advance you when we think it's required.
