Swimming

Sylvae brought up the suggestion of drowning, so I have two questions to consider:
Should it be possible to drown while swimming if you reach say -1000 moves? (Arbitrary number)

Or should you just be able to rest in the water until you can get to shore?

It's been discussed with Maxim a while ago.

Priorities though....

Keep tuned.

I just noticed that there's no limit on negative moves if in a swim room you try moving without the required positive number of moves.

It can go infinitely negative. I can't think of it as a "problem", per se. It doesn't really hurt you any more than say negative 10 moves. If you try to like negative a million moves that's on you to rest until you regain them.

But it just seems like an empty place for some sort of consequence to reside. Like drowning, for instance. Or cramps!

This is an issue with other things too (logging for example).

Atm, not a priority fix, but we're aware of it.
