A crocodile lays very still in the water.
A woodsman, wielding a woodcutter's axe is standing here.
A spotted chipmunk scampers merrily about.
A black stallion has arrived from the east.

A Human entered from the east minutes ago...
An Other left here to the west minutes ago...

You wimp out, and attempt to flee!
You need a boat to go there.

You pierce a crocodile very hard.

If I'm wrong, correct me.

Those aren't damage messages. You're not losing any hit points. You get the same message when you're bleeding and someone 'swings' at you, whether or not they hit you. Its the same in other muds, btw.

Infact, it doesn't look like this is emote damage at all. Its simply the crocodile missing his strike at you. I'm sure you'll notice this same phenomena when you are not bleeding, and healthy.

Curious about Belgar's response myself.

Always thought this was horribly spammy.

Niila? Any chance of a change to this?
