2021-06-20

- Many messages sent to observers in the game (not the actor or the victim)
were not sent if the observer was DEAF. This has been changed.
- Survival skill increase is no longer 100% of the time, it is a 20% chance.
- Form list will now work in combat, since practice would show you the list.
- Shooting a bow from horseback now requires some skill in ride.
- Blood in a room will now be obscured by dust or fog at a high enough level.
- Followers that are ridden by someone else will not be saved for you. Mounts
that you ride will still be saved.
- Dying will now end meditation.
- The Grapevine Twines bladeform will now target weapons first.
- Lights should flicker on two occassions before extinguishing.
- Air blast messages have changed, and a secondary message will be displayed
if the victim is thrown from the room.
- Weapons in sheaths will now be loaded into the sheath when coming back from
rent.
- Dependent skills will also level up without a 2 minute delay.
- Thieving mobiles will not attempt to steal coins that are in a closed
container. This may change at some point.
- Bands of air will now target your opponent if you're fighting and don't
specify a target.

- You can now drink from containers that are equipped.
- You cannot use "form prac" during combat anymore.
- Map now checks if you're blind before displaying a map.
- Promote will give you a different message when the target is max rank.
- Score will now show the target of your held weave.
- Looking through a travel gateway will no longer show your mount on the other
side of it.
- Looking at a room should show your mount ridden by you, not by your name.
- Social commands now have their command flags set so that most will interrupt
forms, delayed commands, and bash/backstab/etc. If they involve physical
movement, they'll likely interrupt.
- Practice will now show weaves, skills, and bladeforms separated a little
more nicely.
- Travel will no longer momentarily cause you to stop fighting when the
gateway appears.

- Attention link challenged people! A new, optional flag can be set on your
account to make the MUD send you an "Are you there?" packet every 5 minutes.
To make the MUD do this, type "change ayt", and repeat the command to
disable it. It only needs to be set on your account, not each character.

2021-07-01 HAPPY CANADA DAY

- Enter will now let you specify 2.thing or 3.thing.
- Who will now show an accurate number of clan mates that are on.
- say, sayto, gossip (and related channels), and yell now will all check
for AFF_MUTE before allowing you to utter anything.
- Travelling (gateways, portals, etc) have been reworked:
You can now travel from a room after sitting still for some time.
You can now travel to an area again, e.g. travel Caemlyn.
If one side of a gateway is closed prematurely, both sides will close.
- Wards made of saidin will be visible to those who can channel saidin.
- Archery will now show approximate damage like other weapon attacks do.
- Practice will now format the skills/forms appropriately if you have an
odd number of weaves/skills for the previous section.
- Mounts will not have their equipment weights fluctuate every time you save.

- Bonds shouldn't crash us anymore, if you bond a warder and think you can
cause a crash, let us know.

- Clan log should work again.
- Fixed an infinite loop crash related to corpse saving over crashes.
- When a pet dies the owner no longer gets a message that they are no longer
compelled.
- Characters that arrive on a gust of wind will now show their name instead
of the name of the character that made it happen.

- Telling a non-existent character something while masked will not crash us.
- Bonded players that log out and log back in without disconnecting will no
longer crash the mud.
- Travel will no longer crash us if you try to travel to the blight.

2021-12-28

- Area of effect weaves will now affect PCs that are following if they're
not grouped. Make sure you group if you're relying on AoE weaves.
- Stab will now only work with piercing weapons, as intended.
- Changed how clients connect to the MUD so that the link challenged people
may keep their connection more stable, or get disconnected immediately if
their link is truly broken.

- Brewing a recipe with 12 ingredients will work properly now.

2022-01-02 Happy New Year!

- Found an error with bladeforms where the blademaster could be killed mid-
form and cause a crash. It's fixed now.
